Independent Contractors vs. Employees, the IRS and Department of Labor announced plans to aggressively crack down on companies who – intentionally or accidentally – misclassify workers as independent contractors, thus avoiding paying payroll taxes and benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
IRS and State Tax Audits
Without continuous monthly financials you are putting your business at risk. WRF will not be able to monitor the health of your business and ensure that you are paying yourself a reasonable salary and paying the applicable associated payroll taxes. The IRS will be heavily looking into businesses where owners are not receiving a salary and paying these taxes.
